Russia's war income: whose trade added most to Russia's earnings since 2022?
How much more Russia kept from trade with each country, from 2022 to August 2026, than in a world without the war: taxes and profit above a normal return, not the full sales value. With China, Russia kept €128bn more; the table continues with India and Türkiye.
These numbers measure money: aid to Ukraine and the change in what Russia keeps from trade, against a world without the war. Weapons count at their money value: aid at market value when delivered, weapons and troops sent to Russia at the seller's gain where Russia paid and in full where it did not. Votes, diplomacy and intent are not in them.

Questions
Which countries help Russia's economy the most?
In money terms, the table starts with China, India and Türkiye: since 2022 Russia kept €128bn more with China than without the war. This counts Russia's gain (taxes and profit), not the sales value. Weapons, troops and diplomacy are not in the number.
How much more did Russia earn from trade because of the war?
Adding up the 40 countries listed, Russia kept €312bn more than without the war. Other countries cut what Russia kept, and the world total nets both out; see the trade with Russia ranking.
How sure are these figures?
Each has a range and a chance for its direction. For 25 of the countries listed the extra for Russia is very likely. For 15 it is likely, too close to call or near zero.
