# data.json: what it holds

The file the map runs on (CC BY 4.0, credit War Balance). Amounts are € bn unless a key says otherwise; yearly series run from 2021 (index 0, the year before the war) to 2026; + is toward Ukraine. detail.json holds the data-coverage notes and the method band's rebuilt alternatives. The pipeline's own notes on each field: docs/reference/pipeline.md in the repository.
